DeWitt Police Chief Announces Retirement

DeWitt, N.Y. - The Police Chief is DeWitt is set to retire at the end of the month. Chief James Hildman will retire after nearly three years on the job.  

Hildman started as a police officer 22 years ago in Liverpool and joined the DeWitt Police Department in 1998. 

The 46-year-old became the Chief of the Department after now Onondaga Sheriff Gene Conway was elected in 2014.
