Syracuse N.Y. - Syracuse Police arrested a Liverpool man and Syracuse woman after they stole a refrigeration van from Andy's Produce this morning.
Ernest Garcia and Susan Johnson are accused of stealing the van just after 5:00 a.m. Friday and were arrested a short time later after a brief pursuit by police. Officers say someone had spotted the stolen van on North State Street and when responding officers tried to pull the van over Garcia and Johnson tried to speed off. Eventually the duo gave up and pulled over. They were taken into custody without further incident.
Both are charged with criminal possession of stolen property and are being held at the Justice Center until they are arraigned.
