Troopers Arrest Constantia Man For Lying About Shooting A Trooper

An Oswego County man is facing charges for something he DIDN'T do to a New York State Trooper:

State police arrested Leonard Graumenz of Constantia after learning that Grumenz went to a neighbor's house with a handcuff attached to his wrist, telling a story of how a trooper had tried to arrest him after crashing his truck, and how Graumenz had shot the trooper.  Troopers responded to a 911 call from the neighbor and learned Graumenz did not crash his truck or shoot a trooper, but that Graumenz intentionally lied about the incident as a joke.  He's been charged with falsely reporting an incident and reckless endangerment.  He'll be in court September 18th.
