ShoppingTown Mall Losses Another National Chain

DeWitt, N.Y. - The ShoppingTown Mall in DeWitt is taking another hit. 

Claire's  is yet another national chain to shutter it's location at the increasingly vacant mall.  The chain sells jewelry and accessories targeting teens. 

The company has posted 11 consecutive quarters of declining sales and is $2 billion dollars in hock. 

Sears is the only anchor store to remain while few major national brands which remain at the mall. They include Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Rite Aid,  Lescrafters, and Regal movie theaters. 

The mall's other tenants are independent small retailers or non-retail tenants.
