Cortland Pothead Nabbed By State Police

State Police have nabbed a Cortland man after they smelled pot inside his car. Troopers say they pulled over 28 year old Curtis Galaska after he was caught speeding along Route 13 in Dryden.

After smelling marijuana in the car, a search of the vehicle was conducted. Galaska was allegedly found in possession of nine ounces of pot, some illegal fireworks and an electronic scale.

Police say his car was not properly registered in the state. Galaska has been charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 3rd Degree, which is a felony and the Unlawful Possession of Fireworks.
