UNLOCKING THE CARE-A FILM ABOUT THE NON-HUMAN RIGHTS PROJECT

This film, sponsored by People for Animal Rights and the Green & Social Justice Committee of May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society will be shown on Oct. 4, 2017, at 7pm, with doors opening at 6:45.

The film deals with the pioneering work of the Non-Human Rights Project, founded and headed by Steven M. Wise, dedicated lawyer.

This suspenseful and compelling story presents the case for litigation, legislation, and education regarding the rights of such complex animals as chimpanzees, elephants, and orcas.
