Geddes, N.Y. - The Dollar Admissions seems to have given a bump in attendance to the Great New York State Fair yesterday.
72,613 people seemed to take advantage of the reduced admission to the Fair yesterday. Attendance was up by 9,148 people than the same day last year and was better by about 10,000 than the Fair's average over the course of its history.
Attendance to the Fair during the middle of the full week has traditionally been the days least attended. On Tuesday Fair Officials announced that General Admission to the Fair was going to be one dollar for the Fair yesterday and today.
