Two Men Nabbed Headed To The State Fair With Cocaine

State Police have revealed details of a arrest last week in Onondaga County where they uncovered a quarter millions dollar worth of cocaine.

Troopers say they received a tip from a DEA informant that two drug dealers were heading to Syracuse from St. Lawrence County with a boatload of coke. State Police set up surveillance on Route 81 near Brewerton where the car was pulled over.

A State Police canine was called in and the dog became agitated around a spare tire attached to the underside of their pickup truck. That's where they found $250,000 worth of cocaine hidden in the tire.

21 year old Louie Lazore and 22 year old Thomas Roundpoint are now facing a slew of felony drug charges and they told police they were headed to the State Fair.
