State Fair Sets All-Time Single Day Attendance Record

iHeartRadio at the NYS Fair

Geddes, N.Y. - A big Chevy Court Day drives the single most attended day ever at the Great New York State Fair:

123,206 people made their way through the gates at the Fair with a combined 58,000 people there to see what could end up being the single greatest concert day every at Chevy Court.  Country Rock Band Lynard Skynard drew 28,400 people which is the largest crowd ever for an afternoon Chevy Court Concert.  1,500 more turned out to see Earth, Wind, and Fire that night.

Historically, 100,000 plus crowds for the first weekend of the Fair are exceedingly rare.  Of the 80 first Saturdays and Sundays since World War II only six have hit six figures.

Today at the Fair, it is Law Enforcement Day, and Senior Day. Kansas takes the Chevy Court Stage tonight at 8.
