The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch today for most of Central New York and the North Country.
The Weather Service says conditions have arisen that could spawn a tornado in the watch area, which includes Onondaga, Madison and Oswego Counties.Otherwise, the severe storms that are possible today could bring heavy winds, damaging hail and dangerous lightning along with the chance of flash flooding.
