State Police have now released new information after a deadly crash on the State Thruway this summer.
A Rochester woman was killed killed in the accident on the Thruway in the Buffalo area after he car was rear-ended by a tractor trailer driven by 27 year old Kristofer Gregorek. He's now admitted to police that he was shopping on-line and taking a survey on his phone when he slammed into 45 year old Ellen Volpe.
The crash occurred June 8th and Gregorek has now been charged with Second Degree Manslaughter. Another victim in the car he hit survived.
