A deadly accident in Madison County has claimed the life of an elderly Oneida County woman.
Sheriffs Deputies say the two car crash occurred in the Town of Madison when 85 year old Patricia Fleming of Oriskany Falls blew through a stop sign there and T-boned another vehicle.
Fleming had to be extricated from her car, and a helicopter was called to transport her to a Syracuse hospital, but her condition quickly deteriorated and she died at Community Hospital in Hamilton. The driver of the other car was not seriously hurt.
