A Rochester bus monitor has now been charged after an incident where she allegedly assaulted an autistic child.
Police have now charged 36 year old Schugita Thomas with Unlawful Imprisonment and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Police say she was physically aggressive towards the non-verbal student , which occurred on June 19th.
The student's mother reported that her child came home with scraped and bruises, which led to a criminal investigation. Investigators say school bus surveillance video captured the attack on tape..
