The results are in on a Speedweek traffic enforcement campaign by the State Police. The crackdown began August 2nd and continues for six day. When all was said and done, State Police wrote more than 21,000 tickets all over the state.
Here in Central New York, more than 900 tickets were written up for speeding, 16 people were arrested for drunk driving and 91 people were ticketed for failure to wear a seat belt or the failure to use a child restraint seat.
