State Police are now investigating the murder of an 11 year old girl in Chenango County.
Troopers say they were called to a home on County Route 33 in Norwich on Sunday for a report of an 11 year old girl in cardiac arrest. When officers arrived they found that the young child, identified as Jacelyn O'Connor, was found dead.
A further investigation showed that O'Connor was the victim of a murder, but police aren't releasing any further details and no arrests have been made in the case.
