A young boy has been killed after getting hit by a mini van in Lysander this afternoon. State Police say 13 year old Lucas DeLong was walking with another child on the River Road when he was hit by the van.
Troopers say DeLong may have tripped or darted out into the road near the YMCA. The child was rushed to a Syracuse Hospital where he later died.
44 year old Wendy Murray of Cicero will not been charged in the crash and State Police are calling it a tragic accident. They say Murray was even driving under the speed limit at the time and was not distracted in anyway.
