Speculation today about the future political ambitions for Syracuse Mayor Stephanie MIner.
The New York Daily News is reporting today that Mayor Miner is mulling over a primary challenge next year against Governor Cuomo, Miner told the paper that she's being approached by many parties about a possible run for governor as a progressive alternative to Cuomo.
Miner said the professional left, some advocates and the public in general have encouraged her to run. The mayor and the governor have been feuding with each other for years. Mayor Miner is term limited here in Syracuse and ends two terms in office in December.
