Syracuse, N.Y. – A pair of public hearing and information sessions today in Syracuse on National Grid's proposed rate hike.
The information sessions are at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Following each sessions, there will be a public hearing at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. where people can voice their opinions about the proposal.
The Utility is asking the State's Public Service Commission to raise electric rates by 17 percent and gas rates by 20 percent.
