The sudden closure of Alfred Angelo Bridal shops in Dewitt and across the US does not mean brides who've purchased wedding dresses won't get them.
Alfred Angelo has developed a plan to deal with customers affected by the company's shutdown and bankruptcy filing. Customers paying in full without a dress in production will get a refund once the bankruptcy trustee and employees collect, but refunds will be limited to $2,800. Dresses in transit to a store will be matched to customers if possible and delivered. Customers with dresses paid for and in the store can arrange to pick them up. Affected customers can send an email to alfredangelo@mjstrustee.com to learn about the status of a purchase Alternatively, a complaint can be filed by visiting the New York Attorney General website.
