A Syracuse man has been sentenced to jail time after a horrible case of animal abuse that was caught on tape.
Steven Bryant was sentenced to eight months in jail today. Earlier this year, Bryant was caught on surveillance video striking a puppy with a board and dragging the dog down the street. The judge sentenced Bryant to jail because he failed to cooperate with the probation department on the case.
He was initially charged with torture and cops say the abuse lead to a nasty case of road rash for the puppy.
