Police Chief's Son Charged With Burglary, Attacking Woman

The son of the Syracuse police chief is back in jail, accused of attacking a victim during a burglary.

Frank Fowler Junior was charged with burglary and criminal mischief for an incident Saturday on the city's North Side.  A police report says that Fowler Junior tried to pull a woman through her window while biting and striking her.  Fowler Junior is also accused of kicking in the victim's door and smashing her television.  Fowler Junior was sent to jail with bail set at 10 thousand dollars.  The chief's son has had previous run-ins with the law.  He was sentenced to a year in jail for stealing copper wire and is facing a trial for possessing drugs in an apartment that wasn't his.
