A motorcyclist escaped serious injury after he was hit and dragged 150 feet by a tractor trailer Tuesday night in the village of Liverpool.
Onondaga County sheriff's deputies say that John Ries of Rochester was on Vine Street in the village driving a Wegmans delivery semi. Ries didn't see the motorcycle in front of him and struck the cycle from behind. Ries drug rider Steven McGill of Brewerton another 150 feet before another driver flagged Ries down. McGill suffered only minor injuries and is expected to recover. Ries was unhurt, but was cited for multiple violations.
