James Ball

Syracuse, N.Y. - The North Syracuse teacher who was charged with murder last week is free on bail.

James Ball is accused of gunning down his brother in law last week after a drunken fight in Cicero.  Ball spent the weekend out of the Justice Center after being released Friday on 150-thousand-dollars bail.  Prosecutors said the fourth grade teacher shot Christopher Ross four times at close range on the Fourth of July.
