Victim ID'ed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Schroeppel

Schroeppel, N.Y. – State Police say that a motorcycle driver was killed last night in Oswego County when he crossed the center line and drive into a vintage Mustang:

At about 7:00 p.m. Wednesday Robert Lightenfield of Fulton was driving his 2002 Harley west on County Route 12 in Schroeppel.  That’s when Troopers say he crossed into the eastbound lane and drove head on into a 1967 Ford Mustang. 

Lightenfield was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Mustang, Nick Lannie, and his passenger Karen Lannie, both from Central Square, were taken to Upstate Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
