There's been a deadly accident in Cayuga County today.
State Police say the crash occurred between a car and a pickup truck on Franklin Street Road in the Town of Sennett. One person in the car was killed, an adult male, and and four other people in the car were hurt.
Cayuga County District Attorney Jon Budelman says the driver of the the car attempted to pass another vehicle on a double solid line on the crest of a hill and collided with the pickup truck.
Three victims were airlifted to Syracuse hospitals and are suffering from very serious injuries. No word yet on the identity of the victims.
