The Cortland County SPCA is looking for the owners of four dogs who were dumped on the side of a road in Cortlandville. It happened Tuesday night when a witness spotted the incident.
They told cruelty investigators that the dogs were abandoned by someone driving a minivan. The resident was able to catch one of the dogs and was brought into a garage.The SPCA was able to catch up with the other dogs by using a live trap.
All four dogs are females and appear to be of a terrier mix. Their fur was terribly matted and they were extremely frightened,Anyone who may known the owners is being asked to contact the SPCA at 607- 749-0029.
