Brewerton, N.Y. – Two Brewerton men are facing charges for shooting at fishermen on the Oneida River.
Police say Benjamin Adams and Matthew Hamacher fired a pellet gun at a boat of fishermen around 1:30 a.m. Saturday because they felt the Fishermen were too close to their boat docked along the shoreline. One of the fishermen was shot in the face with a pellet.
The two men were given tickets for reckless endangerment and are due in court next month.
