Albany, N.Y. – Ridesharing is just weeks away.

Governor Cuomo has signed a bill into law allowing companies such as Uber and Lyft to being operating across Upstate New York before the July 4th weekend.

The services can now begin operating June 29th; ten days earlier than planned in legislation that was approved earlier this year.

Both companies have already begun recruiting drivers in the Syracuse area.
