Syracuse, N.Y. – A cop who crashed into another car while on duty is being identified.
Officer Sarah Hassett stopped at a stop sign in a patrol car at the intersection of Carbon and Pond Street when Syracuse Police say she entered the intersection and collided with another car.
The other car didn't have a stop sign. The driver of the other car, Cynthia Richards, went to the hospital for head and neck pain. Officer Hassett refused medical treatment.
