A Top Ten fugitive in Oneida County has been captured. The long arm of the law has reached all the way to Puerto Rico where 34 year old Alejandro Martinez was captured and here's now being returned to Central New York.
He was wanted by Oneida County Sheriffs Deputies since December of 2014 on a charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. He left the Utica area at that point and then he fell off the radar. Deputies say Martinez was involved in a criminal incident in Puerto Rico and that's when deputies were able to catch up with him.
