Firefighters battle blaze near Hancock airport

Update: The Fire has been put out but crews are still on the scene. Employees are still being told to stay home today.

North Syracuse, N.Y. - Firefighters are dealing with an interior fire in North Syracuse near Hancock Airport.

The fire broke out just before 5:30 a.m. at ICM Controls just off East Taft Road neat the intersection of Thompson Road. Fire crews are still trying to put the fire out.

Officials at ICM say that they are closed for business today. The facility, which manufactures electronic heating/AC controls, has about 250 employees.
