State police are investigating an explosion at a Madison County motel over the weekend that seriously injured two people. Troopers responded to a call about the explosion at the Sharway Motel in the town of Lenox. A man and woman with severe burns were hospitalized. There are no reports as yet as to the cause of that explosion.
