LaFayette, N.Y. – A travel advisory remains in place for parts of southern Onondaga County.
The advisory was prompted by severe storms that rolled through the region yesterday. Unnecessary travel isn't advised in LaFayette, Otisco, Fabius, Pompey, and Tully this morning.
Those storms last night brought with them sporadic hail, some the size of golf balls, across the region and downed trees and power lines throughout the area.
Meanwhile, National Grid is reporting some customers in that area extending into DeRuyter in Madison County was without power for part of the night.
If you come across down power lines Onondaga County Sheriff's Deputies remind you not to touch them and to call 911.
