Some folks in the Camillus area have reported seeing what they thinks are bobcats roaming around town.
No one has captured an image just yet, but SUNY ESF wildlife biologist Brian Underwood says they don't pose any danger to anyone. Underwood says bobcats are solitary animals and pose no threat to people of their pets.
Underwood says the Camillus area provides them with large wooded areas to live in, although their main habitats are in the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains.
