The Oneida Nation has announced plans to open a series of new convenience store in Central New York.The Oneida's plans to open five "Maple Leaf Markets", which will specialize in made-to-order foods.
The first location will be built on Route 5 in Sherrill this year and the other locations will be constructed over the next two to three years. 30 people are expected to be hired at each location and each store will have 16 fueling stations.
The stores will offer items like sandwiches, salads, pastas and fresh cut fruit and vegetables.
