Geddes, N.Y. – Work is expected to begin today on John Glenn Boulevard in Liverpool.
County Department of Transportation Officials say the eastbound bridge between Farrell Road and Route 370 will be closed first and traffic will be reduced to single lanes in each direction. The eastbound bridge should be completed by the end of this year with work on the westbound bridge beginning next year.
Officials say they are replacing the concrete decks and doing some minor repairs to the steel beams and concrete support structure.
