Clay, N.Y - A Liverpool man is accused of abducting an Oswego County woman then sexually assaulting her before robbing her.
Onondaga County Sherriff's deputies say the woman was driving on Oswego Road Thursday night and was attempting to turn onto John Glenn Boulevard when she hit 19-year-old Prince Royal-Clanton.
When she went to check on Royal-Clanton deputies say he forced her back into the car held her door shut while jumping into the backseat telling her he was armed with a weapon. He then demanded the 36-year-old drive to an apartment complex nearby where he sexually assaulted and robbed the victim in the parking lot.
Horrified witness called 911 and reported the incident. Deputies say they were able to get a description from the victim and witnesses and launched an 'intense investigation' and arrested Royal-Clanton at his home on 10 Cedar Circle.
He was arraigned in Cicero Town Court for kidnapping and robbery and faces a charge of criminal sex act.
Royal-Clanton is being held on $75,000 bail.
