The Vice-President of the Hannibal School Board has been arrested on drunk driving charges after she was involved in a crash.
Sheriffs Deputies say 55 year old Madeline Pittorf had a blood alcohol content of more than three times the legal limit. Oswego County Undersheriff Gene Sullivan says she failed her field sobriety test miserably and could have killed someone.
Sullivan says anyone who gets close to blood alcohol content of .30 is at risk from dying from alcohol poisoning. Deputies say her car crossed the center line on Route 104 and she collided with another car. Pittorf is up for re-election next week in the Hannibal School District.
