Syracuse Man Leads Police On Foot Chase

A close call for some Syracuse Police officers when a suspect tried to outrun them and he ditched a gun. City police say they pulled over a car on South Townsend Street for illegally tinted windows.

The police found baggies of marijuana in the car and asked the three men in the car to step out. That's when Jebron Thomas ran and led cops on a foot chase. Cops caught up with Thomas and later found a gun that he ditched which was loaded with ten rounds and had been reported stolen out of Ohio

Another man in the car, 24 year old McCoy Ricks, was also nabbed for possessing Oxycodone.
