Hancock Airport in Syracuse has opened a "pet relief room" for travelers with pets.
With the number of passengers traveling with service and therapy animals increasing, the rooms are becoming more and more popular at airport across the country.
The airport already has outdoor pet relief areas in the front and side of the terminal, so this new addition will give passengers that have delayed or cancelled flights the option to stay post-security with their pet while awaiting their flight.The room is located in Terminal A, just past the security checkpoint.
