Long lines, delays, and some turned away from OCRAA's free shredding event. Despite the heavy rain on Saturday morning, reports of roughly 2,400 cars dropped off documents for shredding at the Shred-o-rama event at NBT Bank Stadium. Many people were turned away after the event closed 45 minutes early. OCRAA is apologizing on their Facebook page stating the attendance was much larger than they've ever experienced. The county's recycling agency says despite having multiple trucks on site, they were unable to keep up.
