Parolee Arrested In Syracuse After Fleeing Police

Onondaga County Sheriffs Deputies have nabbed a Madison County man after he crashed his car while trying to flee a police officer.Deputies say one of their officers spotted 25 year old Corey Carbury of Chittenango driving erratically on James Street.

The deputy tired to pull him over, but he hit the gas and fled. He made it several blocks, before crashing into a tree on Northcliffe Road. Carbury then jumped out of the car and ran, but additional police arrived on the scene and he was caught quickly. Police say Carbury was already on parole at the time and he's now been charged with felony drunk driving, reckless driving and fleeing a police officer. He's being held without bail.
