Washington, DC - Congressional Republicans and Democrats are agreeing on a budget deal that will fund the government until October.
The measure doesn't provide any money for President Trump's border wall, but it does increase funding for border security.
Funding the wall was a major sticking point for Democrats and the issue threatened to shut down the government last week.
The spending deal also includes billions of dollars in added defense spending. A vote on the measure is expected this week.
Congress passed a one week stop-gap spending measure last week to avoid a government shut down.
