The Syracuse Fire Department has identified the victim of a deadly fire last week.The fire department says 61 year old Rosaleane Mike died Friday after fire swept thru her home on Midland Avenue.
A neighbor spotted the flames in her home and called 911. The victim was still alive when she was rescued from the second floor of her home but she later died at the hospital. Investigators say the fire was caused by careless smoking.
