Cayuga County sheriff's deputies are investigating a weekend motorcycle crash that killed a Weedsport man in the town of Throop.
Deputies report that 47-year-old Joseph Savarese was northbound on Sine Road when he failed to negotiate a turn, leaving the east side of the road and striking a tree in a resident's yard. Savarese was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff's office is still investigating the crash and is asking anyone with details of the crash to contact their office.
