A serious health scare for a local Assemblyman. In a statement, Assemblyman Al Stirpe says he's recovering at Upstate Hospital after suffering from a subdural hematoma, or bleeding on the brain.
Stirpe says he recently had a bump to his head and that bump led to a persistent headaches. Stripe says he now has a new haircut and some stitches. But bleeding on the brain can be deadly, especially after a head injury occurs. Assemblyman Stirpe says he plans to follow doctors orders and rest for a few days.
