CNY Police Urge Drivers To Watch For Bikers

With warmer weather here, Madison County Sheriffs Deputies are warning drivers to be on the lookout for motorcycles on the road.

Deputies say serious and fatal crashes with motorcycles are on the rise and helmet usage is on the decline.

Deputies say bikers have all the same rights on the road as people who drive cars and truck and cyclists should be allowed the full width of a lane at all times. The police are also warning drivers that motorcycles are easy to hide in your car's blind-spot so always check you mirrors before making a lane change.
