East Syracuse, N.Y. - DeWitt Police say they arrested a 26-year-old East Syracuse woman who attacked a man and a women with a piece of glass.
Mirsanda Omerovic was at a home on West Yates Street in East Syracuse when she got into a fight with a man and attacked him with a piece of glass. She slashed his arm before he ran outside the house towards another woman walking past the home with children; and after Omerovich caught up with him DeWitt Police say she attacked the other woman stabbing her in the chest.
Omerovic has been arraigned in DeWitt Town Court on charges of assault, criminal menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a weapon. She’s being held in the Justice Center on $5,000 bail.
Officers say the victims of the glass attack are expected to recover.
