An Oneida County woman has been arrested for strangling a 9-year-old child. 33-year-old Heather Marie Hajdasz of Utica has been charged with a felony count of strangulation after the incident that occurred last fall.
There's been a long investigation by the Sheriffs Department to track Hajdasz down and she was nabbed Monday afternoon, but police aren't releasing details on the circumstances surrounding the alleged attack.
The victim has been offered services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center and deputies say additional charges are possible.
