State Police have arrested a Madison County man after an armed robbery Tuesday who apparently had a change of heart. Troopers say 62- year- old Richard Easterly of Cazenovia walked into the Valero Gas Station on Route 20 in Morrisville and displayed a shotgun and demanded money from the clerk.
He fled in the scene in his car, but then returned to the scene of the crime to turn himself in to State Police and he was taken into custody without incident. Easterly has now been charged with felony robbery and he's being held on $10,000 bail.
